Navigating Lulu for seamless bookings and pick-ups


Navigating through Lulu is designed to be as intuitive as possible, making it convenient for customers to book and pick up vehicles for rent. The following is a step-by-step guide detailing how the platform functions:

  1. Search and Browse:
    Users can search for specific cars or browse through categories to find what they're looking for. Each product listing includes detailed descriptions, rental prices, and availability status.
  2. Select and Book:
    Once a user decides on a rental car, they can proceed to book it by selecting the date and duration of the rental. Add-ons such as insurance and driver’s permit can be added in the drop-down cart option before checkout. The platform then generates an invoice with a complete cost breakdown. Note: Pick-up and Drop-off costs are factored in once locations are confirmed and after booking is made. 
  3. Payment:
    Payment can be made through a credit card. Customers are required to pay a 50% deposit of the booking total to confirm booking. Once payment is made, a booking confirmation will be sent via email.
  4. Pick-up Coordination:
    Users will receive information on how to coordinate pick-up of the car. Locations, timings, and contact details will be shared. 
  5. Collect and Confirm:
    Upon arriving at the pick-up point, the customer should show the booking confirmation to collect the vehicle. An inventory check will be performed before releasing the vehicle to the customer. The remaining 50% of the booking and $500 tala security deposit will be charged before the vehicle is handed over to the customer.
  6. Return:
    At the end of the rental period, the car should be returned to the drop-off location. After confirming that the car is in good condition and the vehicle is returned with a full tank of gas, the rental process is deemed complete and the $500 bond is refunded back to the customer’s account.
  7. Review and Feedback:
    Users are encouraged to leave a review on their rental experience to help improve the platform’s service.
